Sesame Chutney
Easy chutney for dosa.
- 3 red chilies1
- 1/2 teaspoon hing2
- 1.5 cups teel (sesame seeds)
- soaked chinch3
- gud (jaggery)4
- mohra5, jeera6, karepak for ponhi 7
- salt
1. Add 3 red chilies and 1/2 teaspoon hing to oil, sautee till hing puffs up and becomes fried. | |
2. Add 1.5 cups of teel (sesame seeds), and sautee on low heat till browned. | |
3. Add soaked chinch water, salt, and half teaspoon of gud (jaggery) and mix well. | |
4. Add water and blend. | |
5. Separately, create ponhi with 1 teaspoon mohra, 1 teaspoon jeera, and 1 stalk of karepak. | |
6. Add ponhi to blended mixture for sesame chutney. |
