Amazing as a breakfast or a snack.


  • 1.5 onions
  • 5 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 tbsp mohra1
  • 1 tbsp chana dal2
  • 1 tbsp urad dal3
  • 1 tbsp jeera4
  • 0.5 cup peanuts
  • 2-3 karepak
  • 0.25 tsp hing5
  • 0.5 tbsp haldi6
  • 1.25 cup poha
  • 1 lemon

  1. Cut 1.5 onion into very small pieces
  2. Put 3 tablespoons of oil into a big pan
  3. Add 1 tablespoon mohra1, 1 tablespoon chana dal2, 1 tablespoon urad dal3, 1 tablespoon jeera4, 0.5 cup peanuts
  4. Add 2-3 karepak, 0.25 teaspoon hing5, onions and then 1.5 spoons oil (mix until onions transparent)
  5. Add 0.5 tablespoon haldi6 and 1.25 cup poha
  6. After mixing and letting heat, squeeze 1 lemon when done.
  7. Make ponhi7 and add to poha
