Onion Chutney

Easy chutney for dosa.


  • 2 onions
  • dry chinch1
  • 1 green2 and 2 red3 chilies
  • 1 tablespoon urad dal4
  • 1 teaspoon jeera5
  • 1 teaspoon mohra6
  • salt

1. Chop up 2 onions and tear this amount of dry chinch1
2. Add salt, and 1 green2 and 2 red3 chilies and sautee till onions clear.
3. Make ponhi7 with 1 tablespoon urad dal4, 1 teaspoon jeera5, and 1 teaspoon mohra6. Add dal first, then when brown add the rest.
4. Blend sauteed onions, and add the ponhi to blended chutney.
