Jhunka
Quick dinner with chapati.
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 stalk of karepak
- 1 stalk of kothmir
- 1/2 cup chickpea flour
- tsp haldi1
- tsp mohra2
- tsp jeera3
- 3 green chilies4
- 3 red chilies5
- 1/2 tsp hing6
1. Create chickpea water by adding 1/2 cup of chickpea flour and teaspoon of haldi to water, and stir so there are no clumps. | |
2. Add teaspoon of mohra, teaspoon of jeera to oil on medium heat. | |
3. Add 3 green and 3 red chilies, and half teaspoon of hing to oil on medium heat. | |
4. Once mohra start popping, add chopped onion to oil. | |
5. Add karepak and salt to onions and saute. | |
6. Once onions clear, add one chopped tomato. | |
7. Once tomatoes are soft, add chickpea water. Add water as needed. | |
8. Stir till done, then add some kothmir before eating. |
